Wireless Data Loggers for Temperature Monitoring
Getting accurate temperature readings without being tied to a fixed setup isn't a luxury anymore—it's standard practice in cold chain logistics, pharmaceutical storage, and lab environments. Kingmach's wireless data loggers cut the cable, so you can monitor temperatures in hard-to-reach spots, multiple rooms, or moving shipments. These loggers transmit data to a central system, cutting down on manual checks and error-prone paper logs. With options for different sensor types and communication protocols, they fit into existing monitoring setups without a major overhaul. The hardware is built to withstand tough industrial conditions; many models carry an IP65 rating for dust and moisture. You can log data at intervals from seconds to hours, preserving battery life for months or even years. Onboard alarms and remote alerts keep you informed of any temperature excursions. And when your application demands something special, Kingmach's engineering team can tailor the logger's probe, enclosure, or firmware to match.
Technical Detail
Kingmach designs its wireless temperature data loggers to operate in a wide range of environments—from -200 °C cryogenic storage to 200 °C sterilization processes. The sensor input accepts standard Pt100 RTDs, thermocouple types J, K, T, and NTC thermistors, with a typical accuracy of ±0.2 °C for RTD and ±0.5 °C for thermocouples after calibration. Recording resolution goes down to 0.01 °C, and users can set logging intervals from 1 second to 24 hours. Each channel stores up to 100,000 timestamped readings in non-volatile memory, so data won't be lost if the battery dies. Communication-wise, the loggers can operate in a 2.4 GHz mesh network covering a building site, or use Wi-Fi and Ethernet gateways for cloud integration. For remote locations, optional LoRa or NB-IoT modules provide kilometers of range with minimal power draw. All models are compatible with Kingmach's PC software and can output CSV files for Excel, as well as feed JSON data to third-party systems via REST API. Battery life extends to two years with standard AA lithium cells, and external power or solar is possible for permanent installations. The housing is available in IP65 or IP68 versions, and ATEX-certified enclosures are an option for hazardous areas. Customization doesn't stop at the probe; Kingmach can adjust logging firmware, add custom alarm logic, and even screen-print your logo on the enclosure. Our global support team helps with network planning, commissioning, and calibration services so you're not left to figure things out alone.

The range depends on the radio module installed. With standard 2.4 GHz mesh, you can expect line-of-sight distances up to 100 meters indoors and several hundred meters outdoors. For longer reach, models with LoRa can transmit over several kilometers in open terrain.
Yes. Each logger can be programmed with high and low alarm thresholds. When a limit is breached, it can trigger a local buzzer, a flashing LED, and send an email or SMS through the gateway software.
All data from loggers in a network flows to a central gateway—either a local PC or a cloud server. The Kingmach software consolidates everything into a single dashboard where you can group loggers by site, view trends, and export reports.
Absolutely. With a Pt100 probe rated for cryogenic temperatures, the logger operates reliably down to -200 °C. We recommend the IP68 enclosure and lithium thionyl chloride batteries for best performance in extreme cold.
Kingmach offers factory calibration against NIST-traceable standards, with a certificate included. For ongoing accuracy, we can set up an annual recalibration program and even send pre-calibrated loggers to swap out your existing ones.
